Ginger
In Pixie Kitten culture, bloodlines aren’t as important as the general familial bonds they create. Ginger may not be Abby’s biological sister, but neither are bothered by that trivial fact.
Ginger is a young environmental scientist who helps gather crucial information for the community’s surrounding ecosystems. She approaches her work with care and easily gets lost in it. Abby prefers to explain it as “More boring than trying to fall asleep at bedtime.”

Diet: omnivorous - primarily fruits & freshwater fish
Habitat: forest
Intelligence: equivalent of a 20-year old human

2013-2015
2013: First "Siamese Pixie Kitten" sketch - later named "Ginger" after a family cat. Originally, all Pixie Kittens were going to have stunted proportions even at adulthood.
Over the years, Ginger hasn't gotten the same amount of attention as Abby. Even if the proportions are outdated, this is still my favorite drawing I've made of her so far.
Stretched proportions to better communicate that Ginger is an older sister.
Not the best piece I've made, but it's significant in how it inspired Ginger's occupation. The glowing orbs are harmless undefined beings I added for lighting practice.
2015: Simplified ear structure. I like the contrast they provide over the old design and will likely use them moving forward.
