One-shots
Monster I saw in a dream. Amorphous creature that eats humans whole & shuffles around using their body as a puppet.
Edith. Used to have a "deep, meaningful" backstory that I scrapped. Today, I see her as a fighter in an arcade game.
"Bubbles" the Reuniclus. From a Pokémon ask blog I used to run.
"Sibus." A demon that reads emotions & brainwaves through the feelers on its back. Shapeshifts into their prey's desires to lure them away before inhaling their soul.
"Lotip"
"Peashooter." A joke character design when I was learning Game Maker in 2013.
Alien squid that lives in ocean caves. For areas with air pockets, it can climb walls with the pick-like arms on its head.
Random dragon doodle I've always liked.
Unused bug monster from a school project.
Another monster I drew from a Starbound screenshot. Replaced the "Bulbasaur bulb" with a bioluminescent growth.
"Nefertweety"
"Insanity Bird." Demon that induces anxiety & panic by attaching to a human's head and syncing their heartbeat to its own.
Part of a challenge to design a character from a 10-second scribble.
Fake evolution concept for the Pokémon Garbodor.
"Gumdrop." Animation practice in Blender.
Originally a stylized Gothorita for my Reuniclus blog. Unused in the end.
"Zigzag"
"Twitchy." Demon that eats dreams through peoples' ears using its curly proboscis.
"Toothpick." Despite his uneasy appearances, he's actually a friendly potion salesman. Uses his spider-like legs to scale his giant vertical shelving units.
"Sorigon" (gibberish name achieved by smashing my keyboard as a kid). Part of a bigger concept where demons could be summoned through shadow puppets.
Early 3D sculpting project, using my alien squid.
Unnamed winged creature. Scavenger that siphons body fluids from cadavers.
Early sketches for a hypothetical game character akin to Kirby. "Yin" would collect elemental energy to power transformations for "Yang."
"Scythe Arms." Not my best character design, but I've always liked the simple scale pattern I drew on its body.
"Buggy." Another 10-second doodle challenge.
"Jibber Jaws." Design could use some refinement, but this is one of my favorite 2011 drawings.
