Every RPG just has to have an obligatory rat encounter, and Pokémon is no exception. Rattata is somehow more common than Pidgey (or at least it feels that way), making it one of those Pokémon that annoys the snot out of many fans.
Pidgey Family
A warning before I start this article: I love birds. They’re my all-time favorite animal. Therefore, it could create a bias with how I critique all the bird or birdlike Pokémon in this review series.

For some reason, I can’t recall many of my friends ever picking Squirtle as their starter Pokémon. As a result, I don’t have as many memories of this cute turtle like I do with Bulbasaur and Charmander.
Charmander Family
Kids dig fire lizards. Charmander’s evolutionary line has been overwhelmingly popular among Pokémon Trainers since the dawn of the original Red and Green/Blue. Even I’m one of those diehard fans.
